Year End Updates

For the next few days I am going to try and do several small posts about things my kids have been doing this past year, more for me than you. I don't keep a journal so this is pretty much it, and I realized the other day that I really need to document more. So sorry if you get this in your email. You can just delete them it won't hurt my feelings. First we'll start with Joshua. Lately he has discovered the toilet. Yes I know every baby does. But it is the one thing that grosses me out the most. Plus, in my house I have two boys (notice I said two boys; Caleb doesn't use the potty yet Ha!Ha!) who forget to flush and put the lid down. Need I say more. The worst part is Joshy always acts so hurt when I won't let him go to town slopping in the toilet bowl. I know he is thinking, all I want to do is play in the toilet and knock the ornaments off the tree and you won't let me do either one. It sucks to be a baby. He also loves to play with the kids magnet board and alphabet. He just rattles them around and knocks them on the floor then picks them back up and starts over.

He loves to bang his crib against the wall to let me know he is awake. Sometimes he shakes it so hard I swear it is going to fall apart. I don't think it will last through another baby.

He is so easy to make laugh. I mean seriously even when he is crying his eyes out I can say BOO! and get him to giggle.

He eats more than either of the other two boys did and is already in eighteen month clothes.

He has started to clap his chubby little hands when he is excited and throws his head back when he laughs. When he is tired he will start bumping foreheads with you and smiling or giving you kisses. He loves to touch my face and hear me whisper in his ear it always makes him smile. He is still seven months from nursery, but I am already counting the days. His favorite game is to bang on the metal chairs during the lesson or crawl under the teachers skirt. Yet he is the easiest one to get to sleep at night (as long as he is in his bed), and he will fall asleep right in my arms during sacrament.

He only says Dada. He used to say Mama, but now it is only Dada. I think he crawls around looking for Chris when he is not here. That is okay though cause he always lights up the biggest when he hears my voice or sees me after I have been away. Sometimes I am afraid I squeeze him to hard cause he just so chubby and squishy I can't resist.

Benny calls him Joshy and Caleb calls him Baby Josh. Chris and I mostly call him Joshy Posh or fatty. He definitely brings sunshine into our home every day.

He is a cutie! I'm adding you to my blog roll so I can stalk you and your sweet boys. That is a great picture of them on your title!
