Pushy Girls

Okay so Benny will be three in less than a week. I can't believe it. He is such a big boy. He says he wants tools for his birthday so he can help daddy fix things. He loves cars and super heroes and Star Wars, and ever since last week when he went to the theater to see the new Indiana Jones movie, he likes to say he is Dr. Jones and he has a whip. For some reason ,though he seems little boy through and through, his cousins can still get him to take all his clothes within the first five minutes of us arriving at Aunt Hannah's house. I can usually hear Miss Esther saying " Come on Benny take your clothes off". Him being the obedient boy he is says "okay" and leaves a trail of clothes up the stairs. Usually he just ends up playing in his diaper. But last Friday the girls decided to play dress up, so naturally Emma and Esther felt it necessary for him to wear something. Now I know what you are thinking. Your going to see a picture of Benny all dolled up in a princess gown with barrettes in his hair, but unlike his Uncle Isaiah who me and Hannah could force anything on, I believe he has a little more fight in him and resisted. They did however get this lovely piece on him.

As you can tell he looks a little confused.

But he decides it's not so bad.
He loves Care Bears Movies so I can see why that was his choice. We are so glad to have those pushy girls living close by. They have so much fun when they get together. Benny and Esther usually run to each other and hug. I am interested in the dynamics between Caleb and Ephraim as they get old enough to play with each other.

Bedtime

Hey everyone sorry it has been a while since my last post. We have been so busy. We
went camping with some friends to Provo Canyon last week. It was alot of fun but silly us we forgot our camera sorry. Anyway, we have a very interesting bed time around here because it is Daddy's special time. After we have family prayer and read a scripture story Chris reads stories and sings songs.

Caleb thinks he is hot stuff cause he can pull himself up and listens.

After Chris finishes Benny likes to reread the story in his own words and Caleb likes to drag a tinn cup along the rails of his wooden prison and sing chain gang songs.

It's his own fault he is in there. That is the punishment for smoking.

But eventually they both fall asleep and sleep through the night.

That is my favorite part. They are both crazy about their daddy. This Morning Chris got Caleb to say Dada and he kept saying it all day, even when I would try to get him to say mama. Oh well maybe I can get the next one to say mama. In other news it is less than two weeks till Chris's big test, May 31, also the day Benny turns three yeah. we will need lots of prayers the night before. We want Chris to score big.

Okay everyone. I had the best Mother's Day in the world. Mainly because I have the best Husband and boys in the world. They let me sleep in and then they made me chocolate chip pancakes yummy! Then Chris canceled his Elder's Quorum meeting so he could stay home and get the kids ready and I could take more time to make my self lovely. At church they handed out lots of a goodies. A fun CD, king size candy bars and Caramel apples with candy and stuff sprinkled on them. They were divine. Also the Young Men volunteered to take over Primary so I got to enjoy Relief Society and some adult conversation ( probably my favorite part since I am the eleven year old teacher and have a great class of very dramatic girls). After church Chris made me Chinese food( Cashew Chicken and egg rolls w/fried rice). He is such a good cook. Then we watched Waterhorse. What a cute movie and very Sunday appropriate. It was clean and fun. benny and Caleb both had several parts they watched wide-eyed. After the movie I took the Caleb upstairs while Chris and Benny cleaned up for me so that today would start off a good day. Plus I didn't have to change any diapers Yeah!! Over all One I my favorite days of the year. I hope I can treat Chris just as well on Father's Day. I hope all you Mother's out there had a wonderful Mother' Day too. (Not that you could since you don't have a Chris)
