Birthday & Luau Fun

Alot has been going on these last few weeks. Chris had his Birthday on the twenty-fifth. We went to the Macaroni Grill. Thank you Pam and John for the birthday money. Also Caleb finally let me get a video of him crawling. Benny on the other hand decided that he could fly like superman so we got a video of that too.

We also got to attend a really fun Luau for our Friends Paul & Michelle who graduated this year. Chris was asked to play a song on his guitar. Mom you need to watch his little fan club. Especially Miss Esther. She obviously felt she had to do something to top The other girls. It is the closest Chris can get to wild fans throwing their panties at him. Also I am posting a video of some of the wonderful Tahitian dances( Thats for you dad). In other news Caleb got his second tooth and is pulling up on everything. Chris took a practice M-Cat before he started studying and made a 31 which is really good for a first try with out any studying behind him. I am proud of him. By the end of the month I expect it will we be a much better score. I think he'll get a forty. He isn't setting his hopes as high, but I know he is a genius.

Our very good friends the Seguritans and the Sherwoods are moving away this summer, so we threw them a going away party. It was so much fun. We invited a lot of the other families that we all know from Wymount and had a Bar-B-Que in our back yard. It was great we sat around a fire and listened to Chris play the guitar and Paul play the Ukulele. I am having so much fun having a bigger place. I love having people over. I think when we finally have our own place and I can have it as big as I want we will have parties every weekend. I am really going to miss my friends. I am so happy for them and that they have found such good jobs. The Seguritans are moving to San Jose California and the Sherwoods to Phoenix Arizona. Just two more places we will have to one day visit.

Blue

Okay so not much has been going on but. I took some cute pictures and a video. Caleb has started crawling so as soon as he'll let me I will get a video of that. Right now he stops as soon as he sees me and expects me to pick him up. But he loves bath time with Benny. So here are my two water babies. Also Benny and Chris are starting a rock band called Blue ( Benny picked the name) and there first hit single is "I Like Rock and Roll". And then Here is a lovely picture of my mom. She claims she comes up here to help us with our babies but really she just comes to take naps with them, And I can't get away with out saying how sad I am that one of my best friends Tia is moving away from me. I am going to miss her dreadfully this summer and probably put on ten pounds cause she won't be here to do the big hills with me when I walk. So here is a cute picture of Benny with his girlfriend Annabelle ( daughter of Tia). We hope to keep in touch cause I think there might be a future for them. Other than that we have finals and Pinewood Derby coming up so busy busy. Hoping to have a nice peaceful summer. We'll see. I hope you all get to enjoy your summer. And I want my Uncle Dale to know he is still in my prayers and I Love him very much. XOXO

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We had a wonderful Easter though. We were all sick and had to stay home from church but it was still great just being together as a family all day. We rarely have those days with everything going on all the time. Benny hunted for his Easter basket and he helped find Caleb's too. Then we had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and watched Swiss Family Robinson( the old one). We love that movie. It was so fun to watch it again I realized how much movies have changed. I realized that at the beginning when they first get stranded, the first thing they do as a family is pray. How wonderful is that. it has been a very long time since I have seen prayer on the big screen.I think I would like to own this movie for my boys( and also for the awesome tree house). Then for dinner we decided to have fish since that is what our Savior had to eat. Chris did a wonderful job cooking it. It was delicious. I can't wait to buy some more so he can cook it again. While we ate dinner we talked about Jesus and how special this day is. We asked Benny what did Jesus do and he said "He died" and then we asked him what did he do next and he said " he came live and now he lives in heaven", he's a genius. Then Benny got to hunt for Easter Eggs. He was really good at it he new to look in all the corners and to put them in his basket and tell us what color each one was. After that him and Caleb had fun eating all the candy. I hope next Easter we get stuck in the house together again. As a side note my mom got a wonderful Easter present too. My little brother bought her some chickens and a duck. She has wanted some for as long as I can remember. So if you live in Tyler you will have to take your kids to play with them. I hope everyone was able to feel the Savior and remember the sacrifice he made for us on that special day. Lets not take the blessings of repentance in vain.
