Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We had a wonderful Easter though. We were all sick and had to stay home from church but it was still great just being together as a family all day. We rarely have those days with everything going on all the time. Benny hunted for his Easter basket and he helped find Caleb's too. Then we had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and watched Swiss Family Robinson( the old one). We love that movie. It was so fun to watch it again I realized how much movies have changed. I realized that at the beginning when they first get stranded, the first thing they do as a family is pray. How wonderful is that. it has been a very long time since I have seen prayer on the big screen.I think I would like to own this movie for my boys( and also for the awesome tree house). Then for dinner we decided to have fish since that is what our Savior had to eat. Chris did a wonderful job cooking it. It was delicious. I can't wait to buy some more so he can cook it again. While we ate dinner we talked about Jesus and how special this day is. We asked Benny what did Jesus do and he said "He died" and then we asked him what did he do next and he said " he came live and now he lives in heaven", he's a genius. Then Benny got to hunt for Easter Eggs. He was really good at it he new to look in all the corners and to put them in his basket and tell us what color each one was. After that him and Caleb had fun eating all the candy. I hope next Easter we get stuck in the house together again. As a side note my mom got a wonderful Easter present too. My little brother bought her some chickens and a duck. She has wanted some for as long as I can remember. So if you live in Tyler you will have to take your kids to play with them. I hope everyone was able to feel the Savior and remember the sacrifice he made for us on that special day. Lets not take the blessings of repentance in vain.
