A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That

First off I need to update my to do list. I finally hiked the Y. It was awful. Hot, long and pointless. The end result was not worth it. But I did enjoy the exercise and the fun Bar B-Q afterwords.

Chris and I also celebrated five years of wonderful matrimony on April 30 and celebrated by going to Ruby River. I had there pasta that I put on my list. Again another disappointment. It was not what I remembered and since then Chris has made it homemade and it was ten times better. they cube the chicken. it was so unappetizing. It reminded me of chicken Bouillon cubes. Anyway, the night ended well though we rented Fireproof with Kirt Cameron and had a blast making fun of it. Chris also bought me three red roses, one for each of our precious boys. Benny said his was the longest one cause he was the big brother.
So two things down eighteen to go.

I also am lucky to hae been married so close to Mother's Day. It always seems like a couple of weeks honoring mom. Chris and Benny and our two neighbor kids made the most delicious breakfast for me and my neighbor Seralina. It was divine. I have been craving those waffles ever since. waffles with Bananas Fosters syrup and French toast with strawberries, blackberries and strawberry cream cheese.

I also didn't have to change diapers or cook the rest of the day, and I got a nice long nap. Couldn't it be Mother's Day every week.

Last but not least, my little Joshy Posh is four months old now and at his check up he weighed a whopping 16 lbs. and 7 ounces. He is 27 inches long. Only eight pounds less than Caliboo and six inches shorter. He may outgrow him someday.

We also cashed in on the Oprah Dinners and had a picnic at the duck pond on campus. it could be one of our last and we will really miss going every spring and seeing all the new baby ducks and lounging on the grass with Daddy for lunch.

Caleb's new scowl

Benny leery of the ducks as usual

Momma and babies

My two monkeys

Hope you enjoyed.

I am glad you are accomplishing some items on your list! They all sound like fun to me! We are thinking about going to see the MoTab on the 17th or 31st this month if you want to join.

So I thought I left another comment, but I don't know if it worked so I will write it again. I work Monday-Thursday until 4:15 and Friday until 1! So let me know when you want me to watch the boys!
