My Brother's Wedding

My oldest brother Sam got remarried this weekend.

He married a sweet girl named Chelsea who just gave birth to their baby boy who they named Xander Cage Bamburg. He just a little doll and we are glad he is here. Benny had a blast holding him and said he would hold him any time.

I got to make my first wedding cake. It turned out better than I expected, but not as good as I would have liked. It was a chocolate cake on the bottom and yellow on the top two tiers. All of it was covered in chocolate marshmallow fondant. I started at nine Friday night and didn't finish till four in the morning on Saturday. Yes I need more practice.

The wedding went great and everyone loved the cake. Sam and Chelsea looked so wonderful and really seemed happy. It was just a small family ceremony with a few of their friends, but we still had fun decorating and putting some music together.
