It's Official!

Chris and I are happy to announce that we have successfully planted our first garden. It isn't much but we are proud of it. Now we will see if we have enough of a green thumb to keep it alive through the Texas heat and Texas insects.


We have squash, carrots, string beans, tomatoes, basil, bell peppers, and blackberries. A little of everything so we could kinda experiment with what grows in our garden spot the best.



The kids really enjoyed getting to help dig and drop the seeds into the holes. Then Benny got a little excited and opened a package while we were not looking. So we may have a squash plant come up by our tomatoes.

Fortunately, we only came across one snake so I didn't experience cardiac arrest cause it was just a little grass snake.
