Movers...next time...

We are currently in the process of moving to Texas. Our plan was to loud up the truck this morning and then clean all day so we could just hang out for the fourth. We planned to sleep on a big pallet in our living room for two nights, then head out Sunday morning followed by Hannah and her kids.
Thus far we succeeded in loading the truck, getting most of the house clean, and shampooing the carpets. As for sleeping on that fun pallet in our house with our kids...well lets just say I am writing this from the local Best Western. After hours of scrubbing, mopping, wiping, and dusting we decided we were too fat and old. So after some soaking in the hot tub and downing some pain killers we are snug in our comfortable beds.
We have weighed the pros and cons and decided that for a thousand extra bucks we could have hired movers and it would have been totally worth it. We had our wonderful Elders Quorum come and help load the truck and we're grateful for all the guys that showed(plus some from Chris's work). As they say though "Elders Quorum Moving Company, You buy it, we'll break it". So two broken legs on our toy chest and one smashed in light switch later we have learned to appreciate Professionals. God Bless our EQ. We are really going to miss those guys. Chris was EQ President and so we really got to know the families. They are all such hardworking and loving people, who dedicate their lives to Heavenly Father. We wish you all the best in the future.
On Sunday the fifth we will start our journey to Texas. We will stay the first night in Farmington New Mexico with friends, then the next in Amarillo with Chris's Grandma. Then in to Tyler for a night. Finally we will make it to Temple on Wednesday. There will we stay for the next four years...hallelujah!!
Sorry I packed the piece to my camera for transferring pictures so I will post when we get settled and get our internet hooked up.

In other news I took the boys in for check-ups yesterday. Benjamin weighed in at 34lbs, Caleb at 23lbs, and Joshua at a whopping 19lbs.; making him only four pounds lighter than Caleb. No wonder my arm hurts. He has started sitting all buy himself and sleeping eleven hours a night. Caleb has proven that he is going to be our daredevil. In the last few days he has run into the street, face planted on our arm chair (busting his teeth through his lip), rolled down our stairs and jumped into a swimming pool on his own( where he struggled face down for ten seconds till we got to him). Luckily Chris and I are aware of his fearlessness and are always two steps behind him and at least one eye on him all the time. Benjamin has mastered his tricycle and is ready to move onto the big boy bike with training wheels. He has also figured out from the lady on our GPS which way is left and which is right. I can't get enough of these guys.
